December Mission

Dear Inspirations

This December I plan to write a letter a day to a friend or someone that I know. So far it's been going well and I've been keeping up. Some people have even wrote me back which I enjoy the most. Life is so precious and you just never know what the next day may bring so because of that I found myself spreading more and more love by the mintue.

 If I left the world today or tomorrow I only want people to remember that I had a big heart and that I gave with no thought of it coming back to me. We live in a world of so much pain at times and often  the only light that is shined is the one on the negative. I honestly feel like my only mission is to inspire, to motivate, to uplift and to encourage. Now if I could just find a way to actually make a living wouldn't the universe be a better place.

Halloween and Antics


Being born on Halloween has had it's ups and downs.

My grandmother believed for the longest that I was satans child and she refused to let me celebrate it.

We sat in the dark with the lights off to ignore tricker treaters. We would always celebrate my birthday the day after or the day before to avoid the chaos. Every year I would have prefered to have a halloween party. As a kid I believed that the whole world was really celebrating my birthday and I just wasn't invited. I loved Halloween then and I love it now.

Those were the days. (not really)

Now that I'm older I can hardly wait to celebrate my birthday at my own cause and my very special way. Last year I was in Nigeria, living life at no cost.

This year I'm turning a quarter this year and at first it was scary. The little halloween baby turns a quarter yup... I was pondering on what to be for Halloween. Then it hit me. As a kid I loved LOVED
Minnie and Mickey mouse... Ok it might have been a slight obsession.

So for Halloween this year I choose to be Minnie- Minus Mickey.

I'm excited to share with you the finish product of my costume. I'm also having a small gathering to celebrate my quarter birthday.

Dear Inspirations

In this quest to find out my exact purpose on this earth, I’ve been meeting many people along the way. Great people If you ask me. Now that graduation is over and vacation is finished real life has come knocking at my door and I must answer. No more handouts, no more pats on the back. Who knew that I would really have to grow up one day.

I’ve started my first real experience after college as a intern. I must say it is different and I have to say I miss my old life.

Sadly when I was in college I knew that the grass would be greener on the other side and life after graduation would be everything I could imagine. I would wake up late, go out with my friends, get all dressed up, sip champagne, and live the life.

Opposite Idea I wake up even earlier, I’m not in Houston I can’t go out with my friends, and I haven’t been getting dressed up. Truth is this is boring and it’s not what I expected.

I was wrong, it’s not bad don’t get me wrong no one is nagging me about a assignments, and I’m not stressed out about the next exam.

So you’re probably thinking “sounds like the life to me”

Well in actuality I’m in a different setting, a working environment, a get your money zone, a 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday position. Where people come here every day to make their money, and just to do their job no real issue right?

I happen to be in a lucky position, no one is standing over my shoulder, and no one is extremely mad if I’m a few minutes late.

It’s only been 3 weeks and I realize I need more. More education, more money, I have to be making a difference and changing the lives of others. I can’t do it from right here!

I’m writing to you all to let you know that you should enjoy any and every situation that you are in. I want you to remember that sometimes you’re in a good situation and right now there is someone doing worst than you.

I can say that I enjoyed my college years but I can also say that I was in a rush to leave and I knew that whatever was on the other side would be fantastic. Right now that isn’t the case. Sure it takes time. I’m waiting. While I wait I will make the most of this situation. Meeting and mingling with everyone I can.

Live Loud, Live in the moment, enjoy tonight, enjoy right now.

What is Dear Jasmine P?

Dear Jasmine P? 

People have told me time and time again that I inspire them, that I give good advice, that I always have something positive to say and that I am a good listener .

Well now I'm reaching out to you!I want to lend my ear to listen , lend some type of inspiration to you or anyone you may know.

Have you ever felt like there was no one to listen to you besides God ?

Or that your friends wouldn't understand what your going through, judging you on your situation? 

Well I want to be the one person that will listen to you, and uplift you,

I am in no way stating that I am a professional, or that I know it all.

At this point in our lives we all need some one who will be able to be honest and give you advice, or inspiration that will  help move us forward

I'm lending my ear, hoping that you or someone you may know life is uplifted or a smile is brought to there face.
